Throughout the year, St. Johns is home to a variety of events, which celebrate
the history and culture of this southwestern Pioneer Town.
This two-three day event held each year in June celebrates the heritage of St.
Johns. A barbeque, parade, talent show, and dance are just some of the events
that bring residents and visitors together.
The thunder of
Formula One race cars comes to St. Johns each summer, and the airport is turned
into a Grand Prix. Many visitors are surprised to learn that such a broad
selection of powerful cars make their way from all across the country to St.
Johns for this exciting event. (Photo courtesy Cecil

Colorful floats crafted by local organizations, families, and residents on
this Saturday morning parade culminate the week-long celebration of the
community spirit that founded this town. Sports tournaments, Junior Rodeo, Ice
Cream Social, Chili Cook-Off, and Golf Tournament are just a few of the events
that provide entertainment for every member of the family.
