Water Hookups

The City of St. Johns Water Department is responsible for water. New residents may contact City Hall at (928) 337-4517 for pricing and scheduling of water and sewer hookup.

New Water Service Deposit

The City requires a deposit which will be held until the customer moves from the City service area.  When terminated, a meter reading will be taken on the final day of service, a final bill calculated and the deposit will be applied to the account for charges.  Any remaining deposit on an account will be mailed to you.

Meter Reading

The meters are read after the 15th of each month.  These dates are affected by weekends and holidays so the billing and reading dates are approximate each month.

Past Due Account

Please read your bill carefully each month.  Any questions you have should be brought to the attention of the Utility Clerk immediately.  Please note that the due date is due by the 22nd of each month.  You must pay you bill in full by the due date to avoid the penalty charge of $10.60.  Once the water is disconnected for a nonpayment, a reconnect fee of $30.00 will be charged.  Past due amount, current and reconnect fee must be paid before service is restored.

IF THE BILL DUE DATE LANDS ON A WEEKEND OR A HOLIDAY PLEASE MAKE SURE TO PAY BEFORE THIS DATE.

Utility bills can be mailed or paid in person at City Hall, 245 W. 1st Street South St. Johns, AZ 85936.

Water Sampling

Water is sampled in accordance to the guidelines set forth by the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality. Scheduling is handled by Water Department Supervisor Dana Waite, who can be reached at (928) 337-2031.
