St. Johns City Park

Over 2 square blocks, the St. Johns City Park is the center of many community events. Large shaded areas with lush grass provide an ideal spot to relax and enjoy the mild weather year round in St. Johns. The park includes picnic facilities, group ramadas with electrical and tables, restrooms, water. Ramadas are free on a first come, first serve basis, but reservations are required. Please contact City Hall at (928) 337-4517 for reservations and availability.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recreation Center

Adjacent to the City Park, the Recreation Center features a swimming pool, playground, and lighted tennis and handball courts.

The swimming pool is open from June to August, from 8:00AM to 8:00PM. Open swimming and classes are available.

Little League Park

Adjacent to the rodeo grounds, this lighted baseball park is contact Ross Carpenter at (928) 337-3818 for reservations and availability.

 

 

 

Opening Day of Little League Games is May 7, 2005.

PEPSI

PITCH HIT & RUN

On May 7, 2005 St. Johns Parks and Recreation will be sponsoring the Pepsi Pitch Hit & Run.  For ages 7-14 a free opportunity to display three fundamental baseball skills - pitching, hitting and running. 

Local Champions advance to Sectional Competitions in your area.  Top performers at the Sectionals become eligible to advance to the Team Championships hosted by all the Major League Baseball teams. The National Finals will occur during the All-Star week July 11-14 in Houston, TX.

This will be held at the Little League Field at 9:00a.m.

Equestrian Center

The St. Johns Equestrian Center is rapidly becoming one of the premier equestrian centers in the Southwest. With St. Johns' central location, the Center attracts riders from Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Nevada, and southern California. St. Johns provides excellent footing, rolling countryside and a variety of facilities and equipment. The area is perfect for equestrian competition.
